Riot’s New Rhythm Game: Hextech Mayhem

Hextech Mayhem is a new rhythm runner by Riot Forge, Riot Games’ distinct label within the company. Following the recent release of Arcane, the League of Legends Animated Series, fans can expect even more surprises.

Hextech Mayhem – Developed by Choice Provisions

Choice Provisions is a video game development studio that is best known for the Bit.Trip series of games. This time, the game will take place in Runeterra, with the bomb-expert yordle Ziggs.

You’ll be able to leap around while trying to remain on the beat to avoid obstacles, toss bombs at foes, and light fuses to create insane explosions throughout the game. The game’s concept is quite similar to the more well-known Geometry Dash, which has become a must-play over time.

The players will also have to flee from Heimerdinger, who is trying to put a halt to Ziggs’ detonations and prevent the madness from spreading over Piltover. Ziggs’ primary goal is to construct the world’s most powerful bomb.

When will the game be released?

For November 16, Hextech Mayhem will be released on Nintendo Switch, PC, GOG.com, and the Epic Games Store. With Netflix’s in-app gaming feature, the game will soon be available to Netflix customers as well. The idea is to make Netflix more valuable by turning it into a gaming service. While participants on all other platforms would have to pay $10 to participate in the chaos, Netflix customers will be able to do so for free.

Pre-ordering the game will also grant fans a free Ruined Ziggs skin to use in the game. It’ll be a fantastic extra to get even more enjoyment out of the event!

Riot has recently been on a tear. Riot has been cooperating with several of the top gaming companies to improve their reputation and player base since the premiere of their first-ever animated series Arcane, always in partnership with Netflix. Epic Games stated last week that they will have their own app with Riot Games’ four primary game titles. VALORANT, League, Teamfight Tactics, and Legends of Runeterra will be available for download directly from the launcher.

Riot Games has chosen to take a step back and collaborate with other gaming titans after years of avoiding relationships. Only time will tell if this will be beneficial to them in the long run. Only one thing is certain: both veterans and newcomers will have more ways to enjoy the world of League of Legends.
