Jurgen Klopp and Andy Robertson both found themselves disagreeing with referee Paul Tierney after Liverpool’s 2-2 draw with Spurs.
The Reds played out a pulsating draw with Antonio Conte’s side on Sunday as Alisson Becker’s howler allowed Tottenham to earn a share of the spoils in a game full of VAR drama.
Liverpool were 2-1 up after Diogo Jota and Andy Robertson goals cancelled out Harry Kane’s early strike before Alisson failed to connect with a clearance and Son Heung-min rolled home into an empty net.
Klopp and Robertson both found themselves disagreeing with refereeing decisions after that game, which had plenty of talking points.
Spurs draw talking pointsIt was a fiesty Premier League encounter in north London on Sunday as the Reds claimed a 2-2 draw with Tottenham Hotspur.
But the cards, or lack of them, dished out by referee Paul Tierney in the last Premier League game before Christmas were far from the only talking points of the afternoon.

The Reds manager’s anger came after full-back Andy Robertson was sent off for a wild challenge on Emerson Royal, while Spurs captain Harry Kane only received a yellow card for a high lunge on Robertson in the first half.
It was a frustrating afternoon for the Reds as Spurs came from behind to claim a 2-2 draw at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The Liverpool boss also felt his side should have been awarded a penalty after Diogo Jota went down in the area in the first half.
And Klopp went straight to Paul Tierney at full-time and in order to vent his anger at the Premier League referee.

Robertson’s comments revealedTottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has revealed what Andy Robertson told him after the Spurs captain’s controversial first-half tackle on the full-back.
Kane picked up a booking for the slide on Robertson although calls were made from the Liverpool bench for the Spurs captain to be shown a red card.
Spurs captain Kane has now revealed he didn’t even think the tackle was a foul – and shared Andy Robertson’s on-field comments to him after the tackle was made.
